Recreational Site Amenities

The Shore Club has been cleverly designed so that all of the recreational amenities are easily accessible wherever you are at the oceanfront resort. Designed to have a distinct club-style atmosphere, these amenities are nestled in a village- like setting off a Coco Walk, which has been purposely interweaved among the residences to create a tranquil connection to your surroundings. The amenities include a guest reception, spa, retail boutique, ballroom, main restaurant, and interior and oceanfront pool and bar areas, all of which have been strategically placed to remind you that you are only a stones-throw from the calming waters of Long Bay Beach.

Guest Reception

The guest reception building is designed in a courtyard manner and will set the spectacular scene of your arrival. As soon as you enter The Shore Club and stroll through the arched walkway, you will be led past the central residence building, across the oceanfront pool and to the magnificent ocean, which has beckoned you all along.

Spa

The spa is a destination in it own right. While it is intentionally designed to maintain a quaint and welcoming atmosphere, it contains all of the essential amenities and treatments you've come to expect at a Hartling Group development. The spa's Barbadian architecture incorporates the natural elements of the outdoors and its treatment rooms focus on the luscious, tropical surroundings of Long Bay. Additional amenities include mineral pools and other exotic water treatments. Perhaps most importantly, the spa is only steps away from the beach, the pool and your residence.

Boutique

A retail boutique, located right on the premises, provides basic sundries for your everyday needs as well as luxury items such as art, jewelry and elegant designer clothes.

Garden Courtyard

The ballroom and main restaurant are designed around a central garden courtyard that will act as the focal point and the heartbeat of the resort. The courtyard also shares views to the expansive interior diamond-shaped pool area with its graceful sweeping arch.

Pool Areas

In fact, unlike most resorts that have only one central pool area, The Shore Club is unique in that it has three distinct pool areas, allowing you to create your own idea of the ultimate Caribbean experience. These poolside experiences have been tailored to your specific needs, whether your goal is to enjoy a day with the family, spend a quiet day in adults-only solitude or be in the centre of the action with others. For example, the main oceanfront pool features a pool bar and light-fare restaurant area and is only a short jaunt from a beachfront hot tub; its multi-level decks that surround the pool also allow for different views and privacy and provides a meeting place for children. If its complete privacy and solitude you are looking for, you can meander along the dune walk to the adults-only pool area that is subtly tucked away at the far western corner of the resort.

Residential Common Area Enhancements

From the two-bedroom suite and the fifth-story penthouse to the multiple recreational and poolside experiences, all of the amenities at The Shore Club have received special attention to detail - and the residential common areas at the resort are no exception. We have enhanced many areas with the same level of thought and consideration, which will have a very positive impact on your personal usage as well as provide increased efficiency for the resort operations. These enhancements are as follows:

Pool Areas

Elegant Barbadian architecture frames the Grand Colonnade pool, providing cabana-style protection during the day and a stunning entertainment and dining area at night. Accented by shimming palm trees and flickering torches that glimmer off the surrounding water, you will enjoy spending quality moments with friends and family as well as get to know your fellow neighbours.

Elevator Core and Foyer Area

The main elevator corridors have been enlarged to include a separate foyer and entry system to each individually rentable suite, which will increase private access without interruption between suites.

Linen, Trash Shoots, Maid's Room on Floor

Each floor has its own linen and trash shoot and maid's room, which will immensely reduce the amount of items that need to be taken up and down the main guest elevator. Additionally, maid's carts and supplies will remain on the floor, eliminating the need for carts to be transported within the elevator during busy daytime hours.

Enclosed Emergency Stair Systems

Thanks to a special emergency fire ventilation system, the stairways will now be fully enclosed and will include doorways on each floor. This will avoid an unsightly open emergency stairway in view of the elevator or a continuous wrap-around stairway behind the elevator. Having the ability to separate each floor will minimize transference of any noise from other foyers or main circulation areas.

Individual Door Bells - DND System

Doorbells will be installed for each rentable suite. This will provide easy recognition of arrivals of guests or family members while eliminating the need to knock; greatly reducing any form of disruption in the main foyer area. This system will also allow you or your guests to discretely indicate a "Do Not Disturb" or "Maid Service Required" status from within your suite.
