This will ensure that we have an impreoved way of handling any minor deficiencies before you occupy your Unit. You will be given two weeks notice of the Inspection Date, stating that the Unit is substantially complete. You will then have another two weeks from the Inspection Date to carry out the inspection of the Unit and provide a written list of any items that may need final adjustment or attention. It will be critical that the inspection is done within the two weeks, so if you cannot personally attend you can easily use one of the many qualified professionals on-island to carry out an independent completion and inspection report. The contractor will them be able to immediately begin to address any items noted before the closing and occupancy of your Unit takes place. Your possession of the Unit will take place four weeks after the Inspection Date. The intent is to use the four weeks to address as many items as possible before you arrive and also allow for the orderly installation of your furniture package. |
